Wichita, Kansas, November 19, 2015: The Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing Epsilon Gamma Chapter-at-Large induction ceremony was held Friday, November 13th in Wichita, KS.
Epsilon Gamma welcomed 48 nursing students (undergraduate and graduate) and nurse leaders to its active membership. The mission of STTI is to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide.
“We are pleased to welcome such an outstanding students and nurse leaders to our organization,” said Nancy Lugo-Baez, president of Epsilon Gamma Chapter-at-Large. “Our students have to meet high academic standards and standout professionally to be inducted. These are our next leaders in the nursing profession.”
Chianne Cates, an inductee who will graduate from Bethel College School of Nursing in May, says she is honored to start her nursing career.
“I am honored to be a part of STTI, and thankful to Bethel College for preparing me and acknowledging the hard work it took to get here,” said Cates. “I look forward to participating in all the opportunities that this organization has to offer.”
